Maas--I know her writing still has it's flaws, but I love the worlds she has created. George RR Martin--Another amazing world builder and once you get into his novels you fly through them. J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series--Do I have to explain? Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater-- This series so atmospheric and whimsical, and the writing style is amazing and beautiful. Marissa Meyer--Her worlds are so immersive and so far she has disappointed me. 3) Gingerbread Houses: What book or series has wonderful world building? The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer.
