TOP 5 Wednesday: Top 5 Fandoms I'm not Part of!

Top 5 Fandoms You are No Longer Part 1.      Once Upon a Time.   I hate this show and its writing.   I feel the writers patronize the fans and will only give the fans of Hook a happy storyline.   The show has become Once Upon a Hook and is fan servicing.   Yes, it started with the writer’s ill treatment of Rumplestiltskin and Belle, but they have destroyed most characters and neglected secondary and minor characters that I believe deserved to get more to their story.   I could do a whole rant video on how I feel about the writers and show, but that video might take too long, plus don’t need to get worked up. 2.      Twilight.   I don’t hate the books like some of my peers, but I was never a Twihard.   I was part of the fandom though, for a while.   I enjoyed the books, and it’s one of the few series that both me and my mom liked.   I am seeing the flaws, but I understand her choicest for the aspects in the story that people don’t like. 3.      The Shadowhunters Chronicles.   Thi

ToP 5 Wednesday: Top 5 Summer Reads

Top 5 Summer Reads I don’t have seasonal reads, but I will list books that make me think of summer or books that I think would be perfect to read during the summer. 1.       I went through a phase where I read a lot of Nicholas Sparks, but I have since moved on from his writings.   He’s a decent romance author, but his books can get repetitive, at least to me they can.   Despite that I think his books are great summer reads, because they’re quick, easy, and who doesn’t love to read about a cute southern romance?   Well, okay some of his books to end on a sad note, but some are great to read during the summer.   A specific one I would recommend is The Notebook.   This story centers around the summer romance of Allie Hamilton, a society girl, and Noah Calhoun, a poor boy from the wrong side of the tracks but has an appreciation for poetry.   After a fun meet-cute, Noah and Allie have a beautiful summer romance, but her parents don’t think he’s good enough take her back to the city

Top 5 Event Themes from Books

Top 5 Books that could be Used for Event Themes 1.       Jane Austen.   I think the world she introduces us is perfect theme for wedding showers, weddings, and tea parties.   Almost every female is familiar with the Jane Austen and love her books, and there was even a movie about an Austen themed camp where you play the part of people from her novels.   Dressing up in period costumes would so fun, at least for a few hours, and seeing men dressed up like Darcy…… 2.      Harry Potter.   This universe isn’t just perfect for children’s parties, but I think a lot of us 20 somethings and older would appreciate an HP themed party.   The place could be decorated with house colors and food like chocolate frogs and butter beer could be served.   Every can come dressed as their favorite character or their house colors There could be a movie marathon and could people could do activities themed around the wizarding world.   Those into decorating and baking would have so much fun preparing for
